GlobalShop 2012 Preview – 3M Displays

In anticipation of GlobalShop 2012, February 29 - March 2 in Las Vegas, we are highlighting some of the displays we will compete with at POPAI’s annual Outstanding Marketing at Retail Achievement (OMA) awards contest. Today's focus: Four display projects, completed for 3M brands: 3M Office Depot Holiday Full Pallet Display Designed for Scotch® Tapes Holds both office tapes and packaging tapes Goal: Increase the attachment rate between boxed tape and dispensers Back-to-back mirrored quarter pallet displays combined with corner dump bins All offerings contained in one pallet, adjusted based on store volumes Sales of Scotch premium packaging tapes outpaced the store brand and last year’s sales. 3M Staples Holiday Shipper Displays Scotch Tape and Post-it® Labels for the holidays Fall season merchandising display that would carry into the holidays Had to convey a “gift” image without being holiday-specific in nature. Nine Awards at Shopper Marketing Expo!

Great Northern Corporation, the parent company of Creative Displays Now, took home nine awards at the 2011 Shopper Marketing Expo. The show ran from October 18th through the 20th in Chicago. The annual competition recognizes the industry's most inspiring and creative in-store activation tactics and campaigns. Gold, silver and bronze awards are distributed throughout eight channels based upon the entry’s ability to command attention, connect with the shopper, convey information and close the sale. A platinum award for Best of the Times honors is given to the top scoring entry of all gold award recipients within each channel. Included in the nine awards were two Platinum Awards, which represent the best point of purchase displays in each retail channel. Our Platinum Awards were in the Convenience Store  (PepsiCo - Mountain Dew cooler door display) and the Specialty Store (3M Post-It Note shipper display) channels.
