Creative Displays Now Wins 5 Awards at Shopper Marketing Expo

Creative Displays Now took home five awards, including a Platinum Award, at the 2014 Design of the Times competition held at the Shopper Marketing Conference and Expo in Minneapolis on October 22-23 (Note: Creative Displays Now is an online brand of Great Northern Corp).

Success Story: Post-It Notes End Cap Display

2013 Design of the Times “Best of Show” in the Specialty Stores Category

3M wanted to secure secondary placement for its Post-it Notes® brand collection in a high traffic end cap display at Staples.

Dramatically presenting “painting” as a metaphor for using brightly colored notes, this well-placed end cap merchandised the notes in a way that extended their hues into stripes that ran from top to bottom, framing the packaged notes within the bands of color.

Take-Note-of-Color

Unique lug ons and dimensional components brought to life bursts of paint coming out of cans and being playfully painted with rollers, something shoppers would not expect to see in an office supplies store.

The end cap display positioned the notes within their associated color stripes, drawing shoppers’ attention to the eye-catching display and prompting them to select the color that fit their personal tastes. Selection was then as fun and as easy as pulling paint samples from a hardware-store shelf.

The color-coded merchandising not only make it simple for shoppers to make their selections, but it also made it easy for stores to keep product stocked and organized at the shelf. The end cap received on-the-spot buy-in with the account and once in stores served as an extension for a larger sales effort. The program has generated a nine percent lift in sales of colored notes over the standard canary yellow variety.

Custom Merchandising Cardboard POP Displays

Corrugated counter displays are a low-cost and effective way to launch products while quickly capturing attention of retail consumers. Light, temporary cardboard counter displays serve excellent for point of sale occasions in retail locations. Cardboard Counter POP Display

Logitech worked with Creative Displays to create and launch this simple, yet aggressive display to be placed in Costco stores. Every detail from the retail blister packaging to the straightforward approach of the club store pallet display was designed to entice consumers to make a quick evaluation and purchase.

Corrugated Retail Pallet Display

This Corrugated Retail Pallet Display allows shopping from all sides, capitalizing promotion and attracting consumer eyes. This design provides strength and durability while enabling a simple assembly at the store.

Full Pallet Retail Display

Developed for Walmart to accompany the launch of new Wrigley’s micro package sized gum, the Full Pallet Retail Display places emphasis on the size of the gum packages. The display features side panels which utilizes unique mirrored media to resemble “fun house” mirrors. This arouses curiosity from consumers at a distance, drawing them to the display. Sales results have shown that this display has allowed Walmart stores to surpass launch goals.
