Mezzacorona’s vineyards have been thriving since 1904, and they help to bring the best in Italian wines, especially those from the Italian Dolomites, to the United States (it’s safe to say we’re all very appreciative of what they do!)
The Mezzacorona Difference
It’s not just the fabulous libations that matter to them: Mezzacorona is highly dedicated to celebrating the culture of wine in its entirety. Prestige Wine Imports and Mezzacorona both value the traditional methods of Italian winemaking, and see their work as a way to both honor and preserve the authenticity and charm of the culture itself (plus, trust us when we tell you: you can certainly taste the difference). Their hard work has clearly paid off, as Prestige Wine Imports was nominated for the “Importer of the Year” in 2017’s Wine Enthusiast Wine Star.
Just like our own company, Mezzacorona is far from one-note. They’ve worked hard to create numerous blends and bottles for their extensive customer base, including a fruitier Novello red, their limited edition NOS bottles, and their Cliffhanger Vineyard Series, comprised of wines created on the “Edge of Perfection.”
Mezzacorona Values the Environment
We may be most impressed by the brand’s dedication to doing whatever they can to help reduce the environmental impact of their production by making sustainability a priority. In 2016, they even issued their Sustainability Report with the help of the Trentino Green Network. We love that they’re so dedicated to giving back to the land that gives so much! We can all agree that doing what it takes to make sure there’s enough wine for generations to come is pretty important work.
One Last Bonus
Another thing we love about this brand? Their representatives are always on hand to answer any questions you may have about potential pairings, the way their vineyards work, or which wine might appeal to you the most based on your tastes. We love a company that, like our own, is based around communication with both its customer base and those who are creating the product.
When we were asked to create a display for Mezzacorona, we wanted to make sure we were honoring that same sense of tradition, while taking into account what today’s wine consumers find appealing. We think we came up with the perfect balance in our display! We created 5,000 displays using our eye-catching litho print for a sleek look that would stop red and white enthusiasts alike in their tracks! The displays were then kitted out and sent to over 50 distribution centers across the United States. The fact that we made such a large quantity of displays, as well as the fact that they were sent to numerous different centers, speaks to the national recognition that Mezzacorona has garnered. We’re proud to say that the displays have been a huge success – just like Mezzacorona’s grapes!
